Trust Intranet, NHSNet & Internet Use Policy
- Access to the Trust Intranet, NHSNet and the Internet is provided for registered library members only. Visitors to the John Squire Library may not use these facilities. The library provides an opportunity to develop both your projects and to gain knowledge while developing, in letter writing services such as https://topwritingservice.com/letter-writing-service/ you can also be asked to present yourself.
- Access is provided for work-related purposes only. Library members wishing to use it for other purposes, such as for personal e-mail or for recreational information should ask at the Enquiry Desk to use the Internet facility elsewhere in the Library, for which a charge is made
- Should you wish to download any material, please do so on to a floppy disk that has been virus-checked. Any material downloaded on to the hard drives may be deleted without notice
- Downloading and running any programs on these computers without prior permission is strictly forbidden
- No changes should be made to any of the settings on the computers, monitors or printers. If there is a problem with any of the equipment, please inform a member of Library Staff
- Almost everything viewable over the Internet is subject to copyright law. The material may only be reproduced with permission of the copyright owner
- It is a contravention of the Data Protection Act and the Patient Confidentiality Act to enter or record any personal data relating to third parties on to the Trust Intranet, NHSNet or Internet
- Anyone viewing or downloading any illegal material or material likely to cause offence will be subject to disciplinary procedures
